12/10/2009 - Seattle Skater breaks maiden in style at Delta Downs
The light bay two-year-old gelding by Chief Seattle out of Quite A Decision by Roanoke went to the front early and led all the way, fighting off a late-running challenge by the favorite to win by a length in the mile race on the dirt. The win gave Heartlines Ranch their second victory of the night. Seattle Skater paid $22.80 to win and made his trainer Brian House and the barn crew very proud.
